Electrical appliances store could be quite a boring place when designed as an extension to its catalogues. Cuisine Art store takes the catalogue and turns it into a social shopping event.

We positioned the appliances so that they would blend into different aesthetic events of our daily life in places and situations where we are not accustomed to see them function. It’s not their functionality we were seeking to promote but rather their superiority as highly designed objects which could nurture our senses regardless of what they actually are, thus transcending beyond their immediate identity to a level of “must have” fashionable gadgets. The shopping experience is totally inverted from a functional necessity into an emotional lifestyle experience.
